THE NAME
merges two notions, referring to Art with the word «Expos» (a faster abbreviated way to say the french word "Expositions" . And «City», referring to the places the exhibitions are set.
THE LOGO
The idea here is that it it impossible for someone to know about all current and future exhibitions in France. The monster with all his eyes is named "Curios" and is able to see all of them! He is the one who takes an inventory of  them and post them to the website Expos&City.com.
THE YELLOW
is the visual identity of the website Expos&City.com. It's is a feature for all of the communication and advertising.
Why this colour ? Yellow is linked with knowledge and emotions - which art is able to evoke. It's the colour of the open-minded - To be open to the art-. It's a warm, stimulating colour, which invites/welcomes people to the website.
THE SLOGAN
«Prenez rendez-vous avec la culture» / "Have a rendez-vous with culture". When you book a ticket, you are invited to choose a schedule and a date for your visit, this is the idea of a "Rendez-vous"! This slogan is enforced on the ticket with the sentence «You have a rendez-vous with -title of the exhibition- on -date- at -hour- at -name of the venue/gallery.» !
ADVERTISING
The campaign is set in 2 parts.

Part One
First, a teaser across two adverts (posters and ad magazine). Featuring the yellow and the sentence in black «All Art summarised in yellow». The poster simply presents the sentence on a yellow background, and the eyes of the monsters appear at the bottom. The second, shows a famous Mondrian painting where the original yellow and red is replaced by all yellow. These teasers, with only a motto, Mondrian's art or the eyes of Curios arouse curiosity and the urge to know more about them.
«All Art summarised in yellow» means that all the exhibitions are on the website Expos&City.com of which the yellow is its visual identity.
Part Two
The motto is back on posters for the second part of the campaign. Beside a very famous piece of art, originally in yellow (e.g. Andy Warhol's banana). Where not originally in yellow, paintings are transformed! All the colours will be replaced by the Expos&City.com yellow («Deux spirales» by Alexander Calder, which is originally orange. «Girl with hair ribbon» by Roy Lichtenstein). These posters refer to the Art, but are also intriguing and make people to go to the website Expos&City.com, to find out more.
Two adverts are also published in specific magazines ; one for youngsters, where the monster Curios appears in 3D. This is more visual for kids/teens, adversing the «Fun Expo» game book . The other, targeted toward an older audience who are interested in Art, is published in art magazines.
The simple yellow square catches their attention, a quizis suggested. The answers are titles or references to famous pieces of art and/or artists («Bleu Klein», Malevitch «Carré blanc sur fond blanc», Magritte «Ceci n’est pas une pipe»).
During the second part of the campaign, interactive modules (which will give the website a "physical" presence) will be set in cultural areas (department stores…) on which we will be able to find out about current exhibitions and book tickets. (Home online tickets booked on the website, are to be printed on A4 paper in black and white). Besides these modules, hostess' will give out flyers with Post-it notebooks to promote the website. The Post-it notebooks will bear the slogan "Have a rendez-vous with culture" and is used to remind you of "the rendez-vous", here with Andy Warhol at the Grand Palais, Paris.
A monthly magazine «Expos&City Le Mag», will be available in kiosks and venues, featuring interviews, analysis's and agendas on current and future exhibitions.
